wine from the oldest and best vineyards of casa donoso, which are from volcanic origin. blend of 44% cabernet sauvignon, 22% carmenčre, 23% malbec and 11% cabernet franc. cabernet with carmenčre is the quintessential chilean red blend. oak aged for 12 months in both french and american oak. harvest: 04/08. bottled in 04/10. brilliant dark red colour with purple hues. initially reserved nose, which opens up beautifully after a while. refined and complex aromas of predominantly black fruit and fine spices. the alcohol is perfectly integrated. the style of the wine keeps an excellent balance betwen elegance and power. wijnkoopgids 2012: recommended wine concours mondial bruxelles 2012: great gold medal
