very intense cherry red colour with some evolution. unfiltered. pure nose of black fruit, paprika and discrete oakiness. refined acidity. long finish. moderately warm climate with cool nights. chalky soil. 45% cabernet franc, 29% cabernet sauvignon, 24% merlot and 2% petit verdot. wild yeasts, oak aged for 24 months; 50% new.
