Luciano Sandrone, the star of Piemonte.

Sandrone is one of the founding fathers of quality winegrowing in Piemonte.  He was a pioneer whom decided, a couple of decades ago, to drastically lower the yields and to make the best possible wines out of his terroir.  He was also one of the first to convert his vineyards to organic farming.  His 27ha in Barolo, Roero and Alba are 100% under his control.


Recognition followed soon.  Famous wine critics within Italy and abroad like Veronelli, Gambero Rosso, Slow Wine have praised his masterful wines.  Those wines are made without make-up.  On the contrary, Luciano’s strength is his simplicity in winemaking.  Restrained wines with great authenticity excel.
